It can take awhile and a bit of experience. If you haven't been out with a guy, you don't know how to act and what to say; it's not something we're born knowing, how to communicate with others of the opposite sex. I have three brothers and had a heck of a time, didn't meet my husband and make something work well until my mid-30's.
