Guess I am the selfish one because I have found that I have to be about me. I have tolerated things for so long that I have finally had to decide what ME wants out of life. If the other half decides to want to fit in to what ME wants out of my life then he is welcome to tag along.....otherwise, I refuse to end up miserable trying to continue tolerating what I am so tired of dealing with anymore. I am willing to continue in the relationship given that I want a true partnership. I want a true partnership not just someone I have to tolerate. We are working on it surprisingly....& it seems that little by little I am getting through to him, but the bottom line is that I need what I need in my life......so ME had become very important.

In my situation, my other needs to get in touch with himself instead of living in his own little world of TV & Science Fiction......the real world is something that needs to become a reality instead of a bunch of excuses.

ME has had to define what my future has to be & what ME wants out of my life.......I have to admit that I know that sharing life together is what I really want, but without it being a partnership, there is nothing to share.
