I have a job interview for Target, a retail store, on Friday. I don't know what all to tell the woman who will be interviewing me. I am on disability so I can't make more than $1000 a month before being considered that I am no longer disabled. So I have to tell her I am only wanting part time, maybe up to 20 hours a week. What if she asks me why I can't work full time? What if she asks why I haven't been working the past 2 years? It is because I couldn't handle it having mental disability but now I believe I am ready for the part time job. Actually that isn't even entirely accurate, I have no idea if I am capable of the job. I am going to try, but I don't want her knowing I might quit after a few days if I can't handle it. I know there's a disability act that says you can't discriminate based on a disability but she can certainly choose to not hire me anyway. Should I just not mention any of this to her?
