Wow, these are all fantastic ideas, and the cool thing is that most of them are practically free!

I love visiting the local nursery, especially in the winter. They have made it a really lovely place, and if I can' t afford to buy a plant, at least I can take a walk and enjoy theirs, and pretend its summer already!
