I disagree with the article. It talks about different "Levels", and one of them is called "intrusive search", which includes finding out your T's address or phone number, or family tree, etc.
If you google your T, why would you click on a link to their professional website and then not click on a link about their family reunion? Yes, if you hire a private investigator to check your T's credit reports, that's creepy. But if you google their name, I don't think anything you find is "intrusive". The internet is public information. That's like wearing a low cut blouse and then getting pissed when people look at your boobs. Um, they're RIGHT THERE.
