I agree with LydiaB and amandalouise. I am becoming more co-con with Nina, so I usually hear her, feel her feelings toward what is happening, see from her point of view as well as mine, and communicate with her in my head (from time to time). When Nina is out, it is, as LydiaB said, like riding in the passenger side of a car. I can see what is happening and talk to and hear the "driver" (Nina), but I can't control what she does.
When someone else takes over, I have no idea who it is, why they've taken over, what they are thinking or saying, or where I might end up. It's like being kidnapped, blindfolded, and thrown in an abduction van. No matter how much I throw a fit and scream and cry, it makes no difference. They won't talk to me, or let me out.
