I may be opening a can of worms here, but how do you get on with your partners families? Do you like them? Loathe them?

Personally, my girlfriends family grate on me. Her mam is an idiot. Really is. I seriously ponder how she ever had kids, or gets dressed on the morning! Her father is a smug delusional prick who thinks he's a genius when in reality he's clueless. Her sister is the most selfish person I've ever met. If she ever happens to do a favour for someone, she'll let you know about it for months. Her nan is a racist, offensive woman who thinks its acceptable to insult people with the defence of being old.

I love my girl to bits, but don't know if I can spend my life being related to these morons. Every visit is hard work.
