Hi, Hipsteroid Groovax, welcome to PsychCentral (PC). Interesting dreams, thanks for sharing them!
I think recurring dreams recur because we aren't getting their "message" so they keep trying to impart it.

For me, "water" means the unconscious, so if I had your first dream I'd be thinking about the waves being too turbulent when I try to swim, the "rocky" island I'm trying to get to, the relic in a church (something valuable/important to me I've left behind?) and the "childish" X's and O's that mean "hugs and kisses" on the black box, etc. Being in Egypt among tombs is not much different from church graveyards to me; but you'd have to say what the historic/religious, etc. images and symbols mean to you.
The bearded man is the "wise man" and his threats would make me think about whether I might want to give up whatever it is I'm searching for, leave it in the "past". The whole, ". . .When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me" thing comes to mind.
The second dream, about which history you say you don't know anything about, is quite evocative to me. I think of the French Foreign Legion, all "those" kinds of movies I've seen parts of :-) including Casablanca, etc. Again, the "theme" seems to be historic, foreign, running on. Houses seem to represent our self and rooms/parts of them, various aspects of that self:

The third dream is again about the "dead" past? You're afraid of your past? I like the woman who will comfort you and the old woman whose kitchen you run through
