While I don't know your history, I would wager that if episodes like this are the norm around events like this, he'll come around. I don't think he meant what he said to you.

Episodes like this are fairly normal, but this one is different in that he has never made me sleep elsewhere in fact if i've ever attempted to sleep somewhere like the sofa he's insisted i return to our bed. And where as i've given back my ring, he never has. I do think this may be us done for good
