What was the counselor's reaction to what she said?
I agree with what the others have said, you need to let the counselor know about your feelings. Your situation sounds a lot like mine, been married 28 years, have seen a marriage counselor once, have our next appointment next week.
What is your opinion of your marriage counselor? Do you think he/she will be receptive to hearing your side of things?
