I was talking on the phone with my Mother today about how mental disorders run so rampant in our family. And she let slip a detail about my childhood that I never knew about! Evidently when I was as young as two, I would obsessively organize my toybox & have to set things while I was playing with them just so. I started pulling out my eyelashses around the age of 3 or so. That's a very early manifestation of trichotillomania. So yeah, it's possible.
