I don't know what this dream means, but I can relate to the "pseudo-nightmare" symptoms. They are in my case being explained away as PTSD symptoms even though the dreams themselves are not particularly trauma-related (which would be expected if you have PTSD). I don't have any advice fo ryou but just wanted to say you're not alone.
