With me, there's the fact that I get bored often, which may or may not simply be anyone's normal experience, because this has died off tremendously as I've matured. What I think is the actual ADD is the sluggishness that I feel when my meds wear off. On bad days, it literally feels like the world is moving around me faster than I can think. If I don't have my meds in my system, I can fend off some of the "blegh" feeling with some kind of stimulant. I've actually experimented with it, and found that adrenaline helps tremendously (exercising helped me quite a bit, and I've actually worked myself into a self-induced fury that worked almost as well as my Concerta, but I highly advise against this for obvious reasons) but caffeine also helps to sharpen my focus for a short time. Can you relate to any of that?
