I had a professor who said that the absolute correct answer to a dream was the dreamer when he/she had an "aha" or "eureka" insight. They could get ideas from others as to what the dream might mean but only the dreamer themselves would "know" the right answer because the dreams are a message to you from your own subconscious, and your "aha" will let you know when you hear the right meaning.
