keep in mind integration and co-consciousness are not the same thing. co-con is the alters still existing but sharing their emotions, thoughts, and sometimes even tendencies with their host. integration is becoming one with the alters: no more switching, being a single being rather than multiple in one. co-con can happen because the alter wants to share with you or because he or she thinks you are ready for it.
