i'm so glad u're taking action gma. you will never regret it.
as for the ups and downs they tell us especially in the first year of recovery our emotions are all over the place. like a roller coaster ride of emotions. partly because the body and mind are striving for balance. balance we didn't have when we abused drugs/alcohol. we were plain numb. i'm recover"ed" and also bipolar. perhaps it creates more of a challenge, idk. but i have had less bipolar moments, lol, since i stopped drinking altogether. hang with us. we want all good things for you.
