Typically there is a headache and or a lightheaded feeling before switching. If I am being triggered a lot, I ignor these warnings. My alters have different visual impairments so the space between me and other objects can change suddenly.
There is no reason for feeling shame! Your actions make sense to the you that does them because of past experiences
