I had a freakishly weird T try "emdr" on session 1. I freaked out at her waving her fingers, I cannot do eye contact with anything. She was just a nutjob though. My current T brought out rods to hold in your hands once that vibrated...I kept thinking how many hands had touched them and all the germs even though he sanitized them with purell very liberally in front of me. So I don't know much about EMDR, but the thought of it really freaks me out.
