I know the other night that we were followed for 40 miles (the incident I posted about), I was so afraid when the guy was waving us past him with his hand out the drivers window that he might have had a gun. I know that my husband moved over as far as he could into the carpool lane to avoid the guy, I slid way down into the passenger seat, hoping that if anything happened that my door would protect me more than the window.
Here is California, there is always something on the news about people shooting at other people on our freeways.
The one thing that really makes me mad is that it seems like everything that people do is defined as an illness/disorder & I definitely agree with Tomi, that the bottom line is that people don't have respect for others & that they don't know how to control their own stresses & anger. Those things are just a part of growing up.....& if there isn't appropriate training in the family, or even if the person isn't willing to become responsible for their own actions, people won't treat others the way they want to be treated themselves. To my mind, this isn't a disorder or illness, it is just plain being rude.
I added my .02 cents too, but my .02 cents are just restating Tomi's.
