I often have trouble hearing when someone says their name. I hear the rest of the sentence but their name is muffled or garbled in some way. So I will almost always have to ask them to repeat it. I know I am nervous to meet new people, but this problem does not help the main problem at all. Also it is like the more I try to hear something, the less I can hear it. So annoying.
