I find I have definite patterns of depression with seasons. I get my winter depression like clockwork, and my spring hypomania as the sun comes back and the days grow warmer. April was a hypomanic month for me, I bounced up and down like a yo-yo, but hopefully it is evening out. Summer is also my best time, with the long days and sunshine.
