Hi dublin,
I wish I knew how to get practice with this sort of thing online (It's vertualy forbidden here) but I was pointed to an interesting web site on the subject at
http://www.crnhq.org/ that you might find helpful.
I've read the stuff and it sounds pretty good although on many controversial issues I don't necessarily want to continue a relationship with a person as see that the truth in the matter, a wise out come, and justice prevail. LOL I even have conflicts with conflit resolution 'experts'

That requires good substantiated facts as opposed to beliefs which can't be verified. It appears to me that the site falls a little short in that area but looks to have great ideas none the less. Perhaps supplemented with ideas discussed at this site:
http://www.criticalthinking.org/forum/index.php good skills could be developed with study and practice.
I sure would like a place to practice where the stakes weren't as high as in 3d, and will continue to seek same.
This is so key to a theropist's job success that I'm shocked that so many of them are so ignorant and bad at it and general negociating skills training. Each time a pacient quits in frustration, conflicts got in the way/negociations have broken down. This has been a big bugaboo in my life and even while seeking help, it frustrates the heck out of me.
I wish you well in your current conflict resolution out comes.
