OK- General Chat I think this would work out in- so here it goes.

First- I hope this does not give too much info on where I work, and have someone point out- i know you! but oh well if it does- this is my opinion and I feel it is so wrong- and need to just rant.

At my work we have access badges for our guests to get in that come and visit. We USED to have an ADA badge (people that were disabled could use this badge).... Well I guess since "under new management" they have taken away that ADA Badge and now if someone that needs it comes, I guess it takes two to three *weeks* to just get it approved, then to get access added to a regular badge.

This upsets me so much right now- it is rude, it is like people just want to ignore that not everyone walks, not everyone is "perfect" and I guess if you are - well you should not be coming in to this place of business any ways-

It upsets me for it is the corporate world, and sadly the lack of consideration of humanity--

Maybe I am just in tunnel vision right now- and not getting why they took that one badge that was used at least once a year by a returning guest, or just if in case someone needed it- away.

It's not the only story that I get upset about that shows the lack of consideration with humanity with these jokers. but I will leave it with just this one.

There is no use in complaining- the side of our area has had real complaints of the other side and it just gets dismissed- even the upper management on our at work has gotten involved and had meetings with their upper management and nothing really gets knocked out with compromise. They are right- it is how it is- nothing can be done.

Guess it comes down to my morals and views are just different and they see that little act of kindness just a waste or unnecessary --- big F U to this corporation- for real.... Sorry got a lot baggage with them i suppose. I know I need to get out- it is not me.

It also upsets me that this person that I work with does not get where I am coming from and views this as the same as someone not mopping floors- I am sorry, I see this as two different things- One is lack of considering that perhaps someone is smart but has an issue (and by them being like is making a big statement- god forbid if one of us had an accident and had to have ada - would they eventually fire us or "let us go" after "finding" mistakes of so much.....) ...... and the other is someone just not doing their job (the mopping of floors). I get upset that others don't get what I see with this- like it aint no big thing!

Perhaps it is not- I get told i am too "a n a l" with the job anyways. so wahtever.

end of rant... deep breath.... realize not much can be done, and agree to disagree with this.
