Yes, I've been in that cold, dark place -- it's a living hell. I can almost feel it because I lived there for a long time. But not anymore, thank God.

Dearheart - you need therapy. Is there ANY way you can get into therapy? Do you have insurance??? If you do, chances are it will pay for it. If you don't have insurance, PLEASE file for Medicaid. Medicaid will pay for counseling!! There is NO reason you have to live like this. There IS a way out.

If you do not qualify for Medicaid, then talk to your medical doctor. He can AT LEAST put you on an antidepressant. That WILL help you get out of this horrible place!!! I guarantee, once they find a dosage that is right for you, you will feel MUCH MUCH better! You will feel normal again! (whatever that is LOL )

I've been depressed since I was a child. Of course my parents didn't recognize it -- they were too busy getting drunk. After I got married, I finally went to a psychiatrist (after I'd had a nervous breakdown). My psych. decided that therapy wasn't quite enough so she sent me to my m.d. and he put me on an antidepressant and back to my psych. I was in therapy off and on most of my adult life. I'm OFF therapy now -- I'm hoping I won't need anymore, but you never know. LOL

Please -- get some help. You CAN be happy -- do it as soon as possible, ok?? And let me (us) know what happens, will you?? We DO care!!! Hugs, Lee
