I have done that too. So I have a permanent marker in my bag of pill bottles. I put a line on the bottle when I take one. I can count them and subtract from the total if I dont remember if I took one or not.

And if you cant count when youre medicated, then I suggest you put them in a baggie for the day, or a pill case.
Unless you have someone to count them for you.
I had a bf, that I really thought would last btw, that was very helpful when it came to knowing how many pills I had at any given time.
