Hello,
It has been awhile since I have been here. Much has been the same. I have been a yr in therapy and been through two pdocs. They left the clinic. Before I get ahead of myself, I need to start on Tuesday.

I have a history of SI. I have not done it in over two yrs. Tuesday I had a weak moment. I took about 50 of my BP medication. I normally take one a day for my diabetes.
So, I take them and I am sick for a few days. Ok yesterday I called the T. He had been out of town when I originally tried. I told him what happen. We talked and he asked me if I was trying to off myself?

I told him, I did not care if I got sick or died or damaged a body organ so yeah, I was in the black deep.
So he told the pd doc what happen. This was my second time seeing her. She seem perturbed and said so you didn't take enough to get sick. I told her, I got sick, but no one was going to make me go to the hosp. No one knew what I did. I didn't care for her attitude.

So she adjusts my meds and I see her in 2 weeks. As I am walking out, I stop by the T's office. I said so we are on Friday right, he confirms. He asked me if she did any med changes I said yeah... he said what were her concerns about the overdose? I said it is not for her or you
( the T) to worry about that. He popped his head and looked at me and said if you need to go to the doc, then, I would hope she would tell you. I said yeah...Then I left.

I got to the pharmacy and they know me well. The pharmacist tells me the (pdoc) is not a doctor but a nurse practitioner. I was like hum, they are all saying she is a doc. So I had to go back to the clinic to tell the T that the pharmacist is having probs with my scripts.
I walk in and I told the T, I thought Flo was a pdoc, he was like, no she is a nurse practitioner. So anyway, she has no medical degree...or MD.
Now, it makes me think that is why she was giving me an typical attitude! Maybe she has no effing clue if the BP med would do anything to me. Or she just doesn't understand.
So... I am conflicted. I have to now deal with my medical doctor who gives me the meds tomorrow as well. I just feel some professionals are insensitive to those who SI.
Very sad still.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated
Tina
