I am just following Rapunzel around today saying "Listen to what she says." I will add my experience though. My suicidal thoughts increased with prozac. Don't know why, I think it is was because I became more depressed on it. Wellbutrin helped my depression but I continued to have suicidal thoughts in triggering moments. I do not believe it was the medication. I believe with prozac it wasn't the right med and my depression continued to spiral downwards. With wellbutrin I think it was something psychological, suicide was always an option for me, knowing I could kill myself gave me control of my life. This of course is not a mentally healthy stance but it wasn't the medication's fault.

<font color=green>But the implicit and usually unconscious bargain we make with ourselves is that, yes, we want to be healed, we want to be made whole, we're willing to go some distance, but we're not willing to question the fundamental assumptions upon which our way of life has been built, both personally and societally.--Bill Plotkin, Soulcraft
