A month ago, I had several nights in which I would fall asleep, only to wake up between 2-4am. I found that if I got up, fixed myself some green tea with honey, and a turkey sandwich on one of those "sandwich thins" small bun-like bread, sat on my couch and read a novel, I would be back to sleep within an hour. I figure with the warmth and calming properties of the tea along with the tryptophan in the turkey and carbs in the bread...it was a winning combination!!
