My T has on occasion said the way I think is interesting.
He is clear that interesting means this helps him decide how to help me.
Example:
Other people may think the same way, or in different ways, and he will adjust his approach accordingly.

And he does not forget to add that we all have unique and interesting minds.
So his use of interesting is not the way I would use the word, I would think interesting as 'weird' (a hint of some of my self esteem) so I was very glad I asked what he meant.
