Dear Mom,
I dont really know what to say. Our relationship doesnt go much deeper than the standard, superficial Happy Mothers Day. I wish you would've gotten help and I wish you still would...not for my sake...but for yours. Your life could be so much different. Im trying very hard to change mine and make it better. Its really hard work but I know it will be worth it eventually. You would be crushed if you knew I was going to therapy and that you were part of that reason. I gave you a hug today and it was awkward...like it always is. Ive never thought about it much before....I just thought all mom hugs were awkward. Im saddened to learn that's just not true. I dont know what else to say. Ill sign it with love because im supposed to.
