Hello everyone. I am a parent of a little boy, age 6, who was diagnosed with ADHD over a year ago. I was diagnosed with ADD when I was in the 2nd grade, which was ions ago lol. I am hoping to find some support in this group, since many of my friends don't understand fully what we go through during a day. Some just think spanking him would stop what happens, which I know is not true. My son also lost his father almost 2yrs ago, and we think he is having some emotional issues from that still, so we will be going back to therapy soon. I look forward to future discussions in this forum!
