Your dreams, although frightening, are giving you the ability to “see” within your own mind and take a good look at what your way of thinking is doing. The imagery in this case, being so horrendous and gruesome, may here be serving as a wake–up call which in reality should cause you to reject(seen by the vomiting) the idea and way of thinking that the dream was presenting in symbolical form.
The corpses can be seen as representing many good ideas which have had life taken from them; ideas that have been rendered unlivable ideas; ideas that once were livable or useable but now are simply “dead”. The pile of corpses implies that ideas now seen as unusable or dead has amounted to acquire some importance because of the sheer number of them.
The baby represents a new or recent idea – one that is innocent and deserving of being nurtured. The baby can also represent a new project you may have in mind or a new concept you have acquired about somebody, or even the idea of (having)a baby. When ripping out the baby’s spine, the indication is that you are rendering yourself “spineless” – as lacking in courage and willpower – when you relegate such an idea to the unlivable ideas category (since all images reflect a part of yourself).
You yourself can assume that only someone not thinking with proper mental clarity would do such a horrible thing (this guys sick) Yet the guy doing this terrible deed appears to be you. Consciously, you would not think of yourself as being a killer of good ideas. (since the you standing nearby seems shocked to see yourself doing this). The man being “on top of” the pile of corpses also shows that this innocent idea killer or “sick” aspect of yourself probably allows you to feel in a position of control. But when you do render yourself “spineless” in terms of a new idea, project, or even a literal baby, you are doing it “over your own dead body” (doing this on a pile of corpses). [This is so because every livable good idea adds more “life” to a person – somewhat like keeping a car filled with gas.]
Seeing yourself to be the son of the devil or a killer in your dreams, would seem to emphasize the idea of thinking in a way that is more destructive than creative. The “son of the devil” also brings up the idea of “like father, like son”. Could this be an inherited pattern of thinking you have acquired? On a physical level of thinking, the baby can represent someone you might have a responsibility for looking after, who you may be rendering spineless also. [Do you have a son?] This too is being done over someone else’s dead body – over their strong objections. You can relax – you are not a physical killer.
