But my pdoc recommened at least 5 days a week, so I'm trying to be gentle on myself and remind myself I"m "allowed" to miss two days a week!

thanks for the reply! i found the exercise easy to do, and have been managing for a few weeks (6 days out of 7, i too like a day off)) but have found it difficult to remember to check my mission statement every day (either forgetfulness or fear of something!) and also really difficult to get up when my alarm goes off. i was trawling through many forums online to see if there were other tips i could pick up on. i was hoping having things on my phone so i would see them as soon as waking would help but it's not been as easy as i imagined. been aiming to do it for just 30 days to give myself a basis of a habit, and hoping that seeing my own custom made app when i wake up would motivate myself, but it's not been great so far. will try and do a weekly update, maybe every friday, and also if anyone else has any ideas for motivation i might try to include that too (either in routine or my app!) good luck with your exercising - very true about changing too many things at once, i've been told by sports psychologist that 2/3 is as many as most brians can cope with!
