My T is kind of in the middle on showing his emotions. I've never sensed anger from him, but I've seen him look sad and concerned. He does smile and laugh easily, which I really like.

He's talked about how some of the things I've told him made him feel sad and he talked afterward about how he felt when I called to tell him my mom died. Actually, I would almost have preferred if he hadn't told me how he felt during the call. I feel responsible for bringing him sadness. He's told me several times that he's very glad I called and that he wants me to do that more, but I don't like to spread sadness.

My previous T got very angry when I told him about my CSA - he was livid with the abuser. In fact, he told me that he thought he was madder than I was. Since I'm still pretty shut down emotionally about that subject, he was probably right.
