Right after, I sit in the parking lot listening to a particular few songs and write in a journal. I always start w/ the phrase "I feel..." This way between our sessions if I have trouble feeling connected I can go back to what I wrote and remember the feeling "cared for, loved, supported, etc." and why. My T sessions tend to be empowering and she tries to ensure that in general I leave feeling ready to go back into the world.
