I could've posted this to the smoking cessation boards but it's dead over there.
I quit smoking. Haven't had a cig in 2days. I'm on the patch and I think I'm gonna get the gum and lozenges and alternate between the three.
So I just went to the store to stock up on more Jolly Ranchers and Juicy Fruit to keep my mouth busy... (I swear, quitting smoking's bad for your teeth... I must have had at least 50 pieces of candy today!

) ... and the clerk told me that he used tooth picks and dipped them into a cinnamon or mint flavoring when he quit. I gotta try that!
Some people told me that they would snack on carrots but I don't have much of an appetite since I quit to snack throughout the day like that.
Anyone have any tricks or tips to share???
