It depends on how I feel after the session and whether or not I have errands to do afterwards. If I feel sad I sit in my car and cry for a while. When the weather is warm I go to the lake for comfort if I need to. When I feel better I go home.
Often I come home immediately after my session and either post here or email my T. If I need a distraction I get busy with something right away. I think about my therapy and T the most right after my session so I'm in "therapy mode" that night. If I have an event planned, I turn off that mode until after the event.
