I smoked a LOT for about 20 years - quit in October last year. I tried a gazillion times to quit but never got further than 4 o'clock on day 1. You're doing great!
In October by some miracle I slipped into a different mindset which worked. Instead of being afraid of, and resisting, the craves and 'thoughts', I rode them out. And (but this might be dangerous) I told myself that ciggies weren't falling off the face of the earth and I could smoke if I wanted to, which strongly brought out the fact that I did not want to and this was a choice.
