Yeah that sounds pretty much like me when I'm PMS, which would be the week that medication is rendered null and void. On top of that a friend once told me that the emotional toll moving has on us is pretty much equivalent to experiencing a death. And having moved a lot I really think that's true. I read an article where experts advise staying in a hotel between residences because of the stress. It doesn't see like it would be a bigger deal than all the obvious stuff but even though I've done it like thirty times it always hits me harder than I think it should.

When I was in the height of situationally-required-constant-moving-frenzy I figured out to pack my creature comforts all together. So go through the boxes and find the two dozen things, or at least most of them, that may seem silly but make you feel okay no matter where you are. Which may or may not include, special dishes, stuffed toys, comfy sweats, decorations that are just so familiar it is comforting to see them etc. The more emotional/routine attachment you have the more effective they are.

And yes, I am saying that there is a huge amount of comfort to be found in material objects. I hope it doesn't sound patronizing when I say, it sounds like you need your blankie, because personally, I definitely need mine.
