Like many of the folks on here, I try to take a few moments to get back to the "real world." I usually run errands, and more often than not, find something that angered me, that I wish I had responded to IN therapy! I'll usually write about what was said, then try to think about what I need to reflect upon so I feel I've "done the work" before my next session. I find if I don't actively try to think about things, I'm unprepared for the next session, and I don't get as much out of it.
