I usually go to a few shops to try and distract myself from the fact the session is over or from the session itself if it didn't go great. It helps me carry on with life a bit and get back into my world outside of therapy.
If the session has gone badly and I am upset sometimes I need to take a drive or just sit in my car and have a break.
I really hate the few hours after therapy. Sometimes I need to sleep to get away from the feelings but then I am ok after that.
