So during my last session I asked my therapist about a training/seminar I was thinking of attending based on a brochure I recieved in the mail. Being that we are both in the same profession I asked her if she had ever heard of the presenter/speaker. In the past 20 years that I have known my therapist and worked with her we have never run into one another at a professional training/seminar...but when I showed her the brochure and told her about it she said she was attending and would not miss this speaker for the world. She then said "You should sign up for it. I think you would enjoy it, give it a try". So I did sign up for it. Will that be weird to be at this seminar with her? Just a little background history: Her and I have attended an outside public event once a year with each other for the past 15 years because she knows that therapeutically it is beneficial to me. We do not see each other outside of the office otherwise. She has always been very protective and nurturing to me, very maternal and always has my best interest at heart.
