Family. My grandfather is dying of prostate cancer. I realize that it is now too late to have a real relationship with him. I blame my father for this mostly. He would never speak to his father because he was under the delusion that he was telling my father horrible things about my late grandmother after they divorced in '73. My parents divorced in '93 and soon afterwards ('96) my mother took me against my will to Missouri. Ever since then, I've been unhappy. My mother and stepfather made me a prisoner in the house. They like to keep me "out of sight" because they say I'm an embarrassment. My pdoc agrees that sending me to Mass would be a beneficial thing. I'm hoping to get into an RCF up there(one that accepts medicare/medicaid and actually teaches you life skills and doesn't have you confined all day.) My father caught wind of this today and he wasn't happy.
