Not officially diagnosed either, but I see a lot with Asperger's and similar who have it, some just a little and some quite a bit. Takes no expert knowing I have it, and an official diagnosis wouldn't really matter to me.
I have no big problems with voices, but I'd rather they call me, then I usually know who it is, but seeing a person and hearing them talk, I can still be unsure who it is. It is a bit of a mystery, but maybe my brain is then to busy processing the visual that it just wont take in the audio as well.
My boss cut her hair. Now I have seen her enough to understand that didn't make her a brand new person.... LOL.
At least I'm glad I'm have the ability to recognize people, even if the ability might be a tenth of what is normal. Would suck never recognizing anyone, some people can't even recognize themselves in pictures.
