Hi Unhappyguy.
I'm sorry about your wrists. I have suffered from the same thing. I got to a point I couldn't lift or grip anything or type at all. I had to give my wrists a break from all these things. I wore wrist supports (even at night when it was really bad because I would do all sorts of weird things when I was asleep). I would get the stiff splints when it was bad and then soft splints when it wasn't as bad and to remind myself to be careful. I would ice a lot. I got occupational therapy for my wrists. That i think was the best thing for me. Then when it flames again I just go back to the exercises/ice and being careful.

When it was really bad I couldn't grip things. I would get dirty looks on the subway because I would sit down (as I was a young adult and should have been able to stand up). However, I couldn't grip onto the railing and so if I didn't sit I would have had to wrap my whole self around the poles meant to hold on to. Unless I wanted to go flying through the train car. Cooking became a problem because I couldn't lift pots/pans.

I hope that it gets better for you.
