I've had pet rats.....but not pet mice.....however the mice in my house thought they owned it for awhile before I took to more discouraging ways if getting them gone.

I was laying on my bed reading one night & I caught a movement on my curtains......thinking it was a spider, I looked closer....there was a little mouse running up my curtain. I don't have the wood moulding around my windows yet.....after the new windows & frames were put in when I first moved in here....just haven't gotten around to it.....but the little mouse jumped into that area & found his way between the bricks & the plasterboard probably into my attic.

Had another time when I was down in the kitchen....I have a hole in my ceiling where they repaired the pipe coming out of my master shower that was leeking.....I heard a sound in that area & thought it was a mouse running around between the floors of my house. I tried to toss a bag of that decon mice killer (the kind they eat through the bag & get to the poison).....took quite a few tries for me to get it into that little hold & to stay up there. I walked upstairs awhile later & found that the noise was coming from one of my eskie dogs that was laying in my shower........grrrrrrr.....I was a bit angry at my eskie for scaring me like that.....but on the other hand, glad it wasn't a mouse.
