I put "faces" on my voices. At the time I had only 2 "voices" in my head. One seemed to be a man, and the other a woman. I could see their faces, but didn't recognize them. They'd get to talking loudly and both at once, and many times I couldn't understand what they were saying because they were both talking at once -- and that REALLY confused me!! It was chaos in my head, with constant talking all the time!!! Other times, they'd be saying terrible things to me.
When that started, this is what I did -- you HAVE to be able to visualize!!!
I would "visualize" this plexiglas wall. The wall would be able to "roll" down into the floor so it disappeared or raise up to the ceiling so that it actually created a wall. When the voices started, I'd press a "button" and the wall would go up so that it was between me and the voices -- that way I couldn't HEAR the voices anymore. I could SEE the faces but I couldn't hear them! They'd keep "talking" but there was no sound! Then they'd get tired of talking and be quiet -- so I could let the wall down again.
It sounds crazy, but it actually WORKS!!! Like I said, you have to be able to visualize this. I'd have to be in a quiet room, usually dark with no interruptions. It never failed.
I hope you can get it to work for you. OR maybe I'm just weird. LOL
God bless and please take care. Hugs, Lee
