yes. i was younger and naive. he said the med has no weight gain effect and i googled it and it was one with the most weight gain reported. even other psychiatrists knew exactly what i was experiencing when i told them seroquel. i was lied to and my dad blames me for not listening to him.

he was the ONLY psychiatrist that DIDNT listen to while prescribing me meds. so i just stopped taking them one day and he threatened to hospitalize me. i couldnt believe it. i got away from him by accident when insurance got cut off. i couldnt thank god any more. i was DYING. i went to a thyroid doctor that said if i dont quit im going to get diabetes. and i said "this is it. i quit"

i quit cold turkey and i all the hospitalizations after were SO worth it compared to what was gonna come.
