I think you should go ahead and write him a note. He'll understand. And your message here looked just fine and made perfect sense to me. People care about you and want to help you, but there really isn't anything about you that is so far from what other's have experienced that it isn't understandable. We just worry when it is bothering you and when it endagers your health and wellbeing. Once you get your story out and tell him the things that you have been afraid to tell him, I think you will feel better because it will be accepted and you won't have anything to hide. It sounds like you are managing your troubles pretty well, and are to be commended for that. Good luck with the job search!
