I've actually seen name tags that say "I'm new" or something like that. I love it. I know Target has some kind of special name tag that lets customers know if the employee hasn't been there long.

One of our law students worked security at Target before coming to law school. She said crooks go through the lines with the new employees, because they figure they can get counterfeit money and things past them more easily. She recommended they do away to the 'new employee' tags for that reason. I'm glad they didn't take the recommendation. I always try to be nicer if I know they're new.
